Another year, another set.
Set 1 here. Aside from my camera, a pencil is my next weapon of choice. But my sketching somehow diminished as I grow older. Early this year, I discovered an app in my phone that rekindled my love for sketching. All these drawings were created using Sketchbook for Note5. My stylus is now mightier than a pencil. More artworks can be found in my other Instagram account. Feel free to follow!
www.instagram.com/studioelcid As I was organizing my stuffs, I found some rough drawings from an old sketchpad. Even in freehand drawing, I have always loved portraiture. Used to be a cartoonist in highschool, too bad I lost all my older sketches in the flood.
My first ever MTV parodying The Backstreet Boys' "I Want it That Way" -- SDU team's entry to the Annual Christmas Party. We decided to relive the 90s boyband era instead of adapting contemporary hits. The MTV was completed in 4 days, 2 hours max, and was filmed around SM Mall of Asia complex. Some of the fillers were shot during my morning drive to work. I was satisfied with the final result because amidst the "work-related issue" we faced that time, we were able to produce a video just in time for the party. This also served as our last farewell. Haste makes waste is not true all the time. By the way, we won 3rd place! Thank my SDU team for the support and I wish to give credits to the men and women who made this video a reality.
